Quark Robotics Lab is a Quark Lab educational project that uses robotics, programming, and electronics as an environment for learning by doing. Each challenge invites students to understand a problem, design a response, and turn it into something they can test.
The experience does not end when the robot moves. Students observe what happens, diagnose errors, correct their decisions, and explain what they learned. Technology becomes a way to develop computational thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and confidence in their own abilities.
The first pilot is designed for 12 students aged 12 to 14. Its purpose is to validate the educational experience and field operations before adapting the program and expanding its reach with evidence of our own.
Where we are
Robotics Lab is preparing Pilot 01. Each stage is designed to reduce uncertainty and turn observation into decisions for the next version.
Validate the technology platform, build partnerships, secure funding, and select the school where the first pilot will take place.
Acquire and test equipment, prepare instructors, refine the learning pathway, and ready the technical and educational operation.
Deliver the pilot with 12 students and document learning, autonomy, difficulties, technical performance, and the real operating cost.
Use pilot evidence to preserve, correct, or expand the experience and prepare future Center, School, and Access implementations.
The learning experience
Robotics makes decisions visible: an idea can be built, programmed, set in motion, and improved from what actually happens.
Learning by building
Recognize the challenge, its conditions, and what the solution must accomplish.
Imagine a response and decide how to combine structure, sensors, and behavior.
Assemble and program a first solution capable of acting.
Put the robot in front of the challenge and observe how it responds in practice.
Find differences between what was expected and what happened, then look for their causes.
Adjust, try again, and explain what changed and what was learned.
The result is not only a robot that works, but a person who better understands how to face a problem and try again.
First pilot
Pilot 01 is designed as an educational and operational validation, not an isolated demonstration. Its scale will allow us to support each student and gather evidence before expanding the program.
Make Pilot 01 possible
We are looking for organizations, schools, professionals, and individuals who want to fund, host, or strengthen the first pilot.
Tell us how you would like to participate, and let’s discuss a concrete collaboration.
